Indian Military Academy

The Indian Military Academy is an officer training academy of the Indian Army located in Dehradun. It was established in 1932 following a recommendation by the Indian Military College Committee, which was set up under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Philip Chetwode in 1931. Academy is only 2 Kms from our hotel.

ROBBER'S CAVE

This adventurous fun spot is located in Dehradun. It is one of the most visited places in Uttarakhand. Robber's cave (locally known as Guchhupani) is basically in river cave formation with water flowing from the middle of it. The cave is about 600 meters long, divided into two main parts. One can spot a 10m high waterfall after walking through the stream of the river. Only after completing a trek of about 1 km passing through the Anarwala village can one reach the destination. It is a perfect location for the adventurous and fun loving lot of people.

MINDROLLING MONASTERY

Mindrolling, which means "Place of Perfect Emancipation" in Tibetan language, is the largest Buddhist Vihara of India, training monks for over 300 years. It was begun by the Nyingma sect. Rigzin Tendak Lingpa in 1676. Post numerous attacks and destruction due to natural calamities, its present structure is the contribution of Khochhen Rinpoche. The monastery is dedicated to the learning of Buddhist scriptures, Tibetan lunar calendar, astronomy, Traditional Tibetan medicine and calligraphy. Ngagyur Nyingma College, one of the biggest Buddhist institutions in India is housed on its campus.

SAHASTRADHARA

Sahastradhara literally means 'thousand-fold spring'. It is a popular attraction, famous for its ecstatic beauty and therapeutic value since its water contains Sulphur. While the place can be visited any time during the year, you would love the charming beauty of the waterfall during the rainy season when the stream proposes the appearance of a gushing torrent. Sahastradhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Uttarakhand and is placed in the picturesque town of Dehradun.

MUSSOORIE

Mussoorie is a famous hill station and 35 kilometers from Dehradun. This hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. Being at an average altitude of 6,170 ft - Mussoorie, with its green hills and varied flora and fauna, is a fascinating hill. Commanding snow ranges to the northeast and glittering views of the Doon Valley and Shiwalik ranges in the south, the town was once said to present a 'fairyland' atmosphere to tourists. The second highest point is the original Lal Tibba in Landour, with a height of over 7,464 ft.

A popular picnic destination, Lacchiwalla is famous for its lush greenery unspoiled by human activity.

GURUDWARA PAONTA SAHIB

Paonta Sahib is located in the south of Sirmour District, Himachal Pradesh on National Highway 7 and 34 km from our Hotel. Paonta Sahib is an important place of worship for Sikhs, hosting a large Gurdwara named Gurudwara Paonta Sahib, on the banks of the river Yamuna. The river is the boundary between the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
